MYTH: There's no cure for ringing in ears
MYTH: There is no cure for tinnitus (ringing of the ears).
TRUTH: OK. That may be true but there are several treatments that can make tinnitus significantly less noticeable. Whether masking, medications, or other more intense treatments, the majority of patients that I treat will state that over time the tinnitus is no longer bothersome. I start with the most conservative managements and then work from there to find a therapy that is personalized for each patient.
