I think I broke my nose!
Sorry to hear. That musta hurt.
Seriously though, when you think you broke your nose, after putting some ice on it and taking some ibuprophen, the main thing is to look at it in a mirror. Is it straight or crooked? If it’s straight it will likely stay straight. Nothing to worry about. If it’s crooked, it will likely need to be straightened with a procedure called a closed reduction. This needs to happen within 10-14 days or your nose bones will fuse crooked. Basically, you get some anesthesia and then an ENT surgeon hits you like Rocky Balboa, glues a cast on your nose, and then says they did delicate surgery to make you look beautiful.
In summary, let the swelling go down for a few days. If it isn’t straight you aren’t happy with it after that, come see me. I’ll go easy on ‘ya.
