WHO - Jennifer Paris

TITLE - Physician Assistant for Dr. Shellenberger

HOMETOWN - born in Louisiana but spent most of my childhood in the suburbs of Houston

WHEN - with Cross Timbers since 2016

Well, I'm a mom to three kids, Elenie, Michael and Camille and a wifey to my husband, Matthew. My husband and I have been together since I was 15, we met at our church youth group in high school. We were married 2008 and life has just continued to get better and a little crazier ever since.

I went to Louisiana Tech for my undergrad. I initially thought I wanted to go into medical research but after spending some time in the lab a wise professor told me I talked too much for research and needed a job where I interacted with more people. I was barely 21 when I graduated college and went straight to PA school; I was the youngest in my class, the oldest was 50!

I've been practicing since 2009 and love my job.

I love reading especially thrillers and once managed to read 30 books within a year. Running saves me in so many ways, besides keeping my heart healthy it keeps my head clear. I especially love long-distance running like full- and half- marathons. Sometimes my husband will look at me and say I need to go for a run (haha!). I'm only 5 feet tall and have to take like three steps for every one of Dr. Shellenbergers so it's a good thing I keep running outside of work!

As a family we love going on Disney Cruises and I love making everyone wear matching t-shirts on vacation. We also try and make it to Mardi Gras each year to visit family. I never changed my last name when I got married and my whole life people have asked me if I've ever been to Paris. I haven't yet, but I want to.
