How Your Phone Alters Your Sleep
At the end of the day, when you’re in bed and getting ready to sleep, what do you do? Do you just lay down or do you get on your phone for one last time for the day?
Studies have shown that it is becoming increasingly popular for people to spend a significant amount of time on their phones before sleeping, which can actually be a problem! Studies recommend that people stay off of their phone for an hour before going to sleep in order to get the best rest possible.
Research is showing that playing on your phone before going to sleep can actually throw off you circadian rhythm and make it harder for you to fall asleep. It can also make your quality of sleep decrease as well. So do yourself a favor and put the phone down before going to bed!
